Top Schools by OM/SCM Research Productivity & Impact

Schools ranked by either the median productivity or the impact h-index of their tenure-track Operations & Supply Chain Management faculty. Toggle to switch the ranking.

Productivity: median of UTD-24 publications / (data-pull year − PhD year). Impact: the department's faculty-level h-index — the largest k such that k of its TT OM/SCM faculty each have a personal CPY h-index of at least k. Rewards depth of high-impact faculty without being inflated by a large roster of low-impact ones. Impact values are reported as fractional h-indices, interpolated between integer levels so close ranks remain distinguishable (see methodology). Faculty without a computable value count as 0. Schools with fewer than 5 TT OM/SCM faculty are excluded. Last publication data pull: 2026-06-24.
