Collaboration Map
Every school in the directory, placed on the world map. Circle color is the number of active tenure-track OM/SCM faculty (grey → green); INSEAD appears once per campus. Two networks are available: Co-authorship — green arcs connect schools whose faculty co-authored papers in the last 5 years, weighted by citations per year; the stronger the tie, the bolder the arc. PhD placement — violet arrows point from the PhD-granting university to the school where its graduates now work, weighted by headcount. Long-distance ties start rolled up into wide region-to-region bands: click a band to expand it into its individual school connections. Search for a school to jump straight to it, click any school to isolate its network, scroll to zoom, and zoom in to reveal school names.

182 schools shown. Arcs cover co-authorships between directory faculty only, on UTD-24 / OM-journal papers from the last 5 years; each arc's weight sums the papers' citations per year. Arrows point from the PhD-granting university to the hiring school, counting all currently active tenure-track OM/SCM faculty; placements into one's own PhD school are excluded, as are PhD programs outside the directory. By default, ties between regions appear only as the wide bands — click a band to expand it, or untick “Aggregate long-distance ties” to draw them all. Weaker same-region ties are hidden by the strength slider — drag it left to reveal them. See the methodology for details.
