A chronological log of new features, new schools, and improvements to this directory. Suggestions are welcome via the contact page.

October 2026

Oct 13 — New school: CUNEF University (Madrid, Spain). CUNEF does not publish faculty profile pages that the directory can read, so its OM/SCM faculty were added by hand. The directory now covers 202 schools.

September 2026

Sep 29 — New school: Bucknell University (Freeman College of Management). The directory now covers 201 schools.
Sep 26 — Improvement: The Cohort Analysis name field no longer freezes on iPhone. Typing a name now shows a short list of matching faculty (with their school) that you can tap or arrow through; the previous browser-native suggestion list held every faculty member and locked up Safari on iOS. Accented names match without the accents, so "cachon" finds Gérard Cachon.
Sep 25 — New schools: IIM Bangalore and Aalto University School of Business. The directory now covers 200 schools.
Sep 25 — Improvement: Landing page refresh. The introduction now describes what the site is: a directory of tenure-track OM/SCM faculty at the world's top business schools, with research rankings and tools for editors, researchers, and practitioners. The tool cards now start with Find an Expert and each carries a label for who it is for ("For practitioners", "For editors", "For researchers"); Reviewer Assignment remains under Research Tools in the menu. The latest update and the featured school sit side by side, and the school table has its own "Schools" heading that the Schools statistic links to.
Sep 24 — New feature: "UTD-24 only" switch on the All Papers page. Turn it on to see only papers in UTD-24 journals; it combines with the search box and the topic and method filters, updates the per-year counts, and is kept in the link (?utd=1) so a filtered view can be shared.
Sep 24 — Improvement: Wisconsin School of Business branding. The directory now follows the WSB digital brand: the school's logo and red navigation bar, the Acumin Pro typeface, dark-blue headings, flat white cards, red table headers, and a shared palette for chips, badges and tags. The landing-page statistics are now links into the school, faculty and paper directories.
Sep 24 — Improvement: Accessibility and speed. Every faculty profile now has a proper page heading and a "suggest a correction" link, tables keep their column headers pinned while you scroll, keyboard users get a skip-to-content link and can open collapsible panels, result counts are announced to screen readers, medals link straight to the highlighted leaderboard row and a collapsible key explains medals and badges wherever they appear. The site gained a favicon and social-sharing preview cards, ships about 23 MB less to browsers and the deploy, and the research tools now offer a Retry button when a data download fails, cap very long reviewer lists, and report "No conflicts found" instead of an empty table.
Sep 21 — New schools: IIM Ahmedabad and WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business). The directory now covers 198 schools.
Sep 10 — New schools: University of New Hampshire (Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics) and John Carroll University (Boler College of Business). The directory now covers 196 schools.
Sep 8 — New school: TBS Education (France). The directory now covers 194 schools.
Sep 6 — New school: Universidad de los Andes School of Management (Colombia). The directory now covers 193 schools.
Sep 5 — New schools: KNUST School of Business (Ghana) and Rabat Business School, International University of Rabat (Morocco). The directory now covers 192 schools.
Sep 4 — New school: FGV EAESP (Brazil). The directory now covers 190 schools.
Sep 3 — New schools: Adolfo Ibáñez University Business School (Chile) and Africa Business School, Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (Morocco). Neither publishes faculty profile pages that the directory can read, so their OM/SCM faculty were added by hand. The directory now covers 189 schools.

August 2026

Aug 29 — New schools: Lehigh University and American University of Beirut. The directory now covers 187 schools.
Aug 29 — New feature: School statistics. Each school page now opens with its research output and impact (each with the school's rank among all ranked schools), its tenure-track headcount split by assistant/associate/full rank, the share of women on the tenure track, and a PhD-origins breakdown — how many distinct doctoral programs the faculty come from, how concentrated those origins are, and what share hold the school's own PhD. The old UTD rank pill is gone: the directory now covers 187 schools while the UTD list only ranks 100, so ranks past 100 were never real. The gender share is a name-based estimate published only in aggregate and withheld for small departments; see the methodology page for how each statistic is computed.
Aug 23 — New school: Colorado State University. The directory now covers 181 schools.
Aug 22 — Improvement: UC Davis rosters corrected — the scraper had been reading the school-wide directory instead of the department-filtered listings and captured only a fraction of each group; the Operations Management roster now lists all 12 active members, and the newly added Business Analytics department all 19 (12 of them unique to that group).
Aug 19 — New school: University of Nevada, Reno. The directory now covers 180 schools.
Aug 19 — Improvement: Collaboration network ties (the map's co-authorship arcs and the centrality ranking behind the Collaboration Hub badge) now require at least one active tenure-track OM/SCM/Decision Sciences author — co-authors in other fields still count as partners, but ties between out-of-scope faculty no longer inflate the network. The school leaderboard's Top Partners numbers also gained hover tips explaining what they measure.
Aug 18 — New school: Simon Fraser University. The directory now covers 179 schools.
Aug 17 — Improvement: The All Faculty page now loads without freezing the browser — its ~2,000 rows render progressively instead of all at once, on first load and whenever a search, filter change, or re-sort broadens the visible set, so the page stays responsive throughout.
Aug 17 — New feature: Industry & Practice section — researchers who left tenure-track academia but remain research-active now have their own section in the faculty directory, showing their current affiliation alongside their last academic school. They stay on the papers page and in reviewer recommendations, and their publications keep syncing, while remaining excluded from all rankings and school aggregates.
Aug 16 — New feature: Collaboration centrality — every school now carries a 0–100 network-centrality score measuring how essential it is to collaboration in the field, shown on its page and as a third toggle on the school leaderboard. The top 10 schools earn the new Collaboration Hub badge.
Aug 16 — New feature: Collaboration Map — a world map of all 178 schools colored by faculty count, with two networks: co-authorship arcs from the last five years and a directed PhD-placement mode (arrows from PhD program to hiring school). Long-distance ties aggregate into region-to-region bands that expand on click, a search box jumps straight to any school, clicking a school isolates its network, every school page links to its own map view, and INSEAD appears once per campus.
Aug 16 — New feature: This Site Updates page, with a running log of site developments back to launch.
